Iristrac, LLC was founded and is headquartered in Louisville, KY, as a biometrics company. Its purpose is to identify animals quickly, accurately and non-invasively for the benefit of animals and humans.

Products and Technologies – Iristrac is developing patentable, non-invasive products and services that capture, authenticate, track and distribute data throughout the life of an animal. The company combines iris identification, automated transaction processing, security, database, the Internet, and other technologies to create innovative, useful and commercially viable products and services under its IrisTrac™ brand.

Iristrac’s unique products have the ability to non-invasively identify an animal, then enter its current information and/or access its historical information.

The company filed a patent application based on its Proof-of-Concept work with the USPTO on December 6, 2005 and now has patent pending status.

At this time there are no other quick, accurate and non-invasive animal ID products in the commercial animal identification market.
